Warning: this video has nothing to do with running. I threw this together really fast (probably too fast) after our trip California over Labor Day weekend. It’s my favorite way to “scrapbook.” Remember my Mexico video? That one was much longer than this. The kids love watching them. My boys are getting older and are not too fond of being in front of the camera, so there is a shortage of footage of them… When Connor watched it the first time he said in the first minutes, “are me and Cash in it?” Maybe this will teach them a lesson about letting me put the camera in front of them!
And guess what. Expect another family video in November because we are all headed to New York City for the marathon. Yes, the whole clan. We are all so excited! We will spending Halloween there, so if anyone has any ideas of what to do in the city for Halloween, please tell me.
B and I hope to teach our kids about many, many things, but one of them is adventure.
Can’t wait to see the Big Apple through the eyes of a child.
And speaking of adventures, last week my friends Kara, Vanessa, and I took our kids to Hole in the Rock and then to have a picnic in front of Tempe Center for the Arts. It’s only when my friends and I get all of our kids together do we realize just how many we have! Here’s some photos for you:
One last thing…. Tomorrow, when all the littles will be at school and the house will be quiet, I plan on recording my video talking to all of you pregnant/new mom warriors who are ready to run. What do you want to know?? My current outline is basically just telling you that you are awesome and to be easy on yourself, but I’m assuming you want to know more? Tell me what you need to hear.
